• From the east/north: Parthenstraße to the Zoo

Leipzig's Low Emission Zone

Important for car drivers: Leipzig has a low emission zone in which only cars, buses or commercial vehicles with a green sticker are allowed to drive.

Please observe the guidance system for the car parks. You will find the Zoo car park right opposite the main entrance to the KONGRESSHALLE. You can park your car here around the clock in one of 1,375 parking spaces (entry height: 2 metres). There are also parking spaces available for buses and vehicles over 2 metres high in the vicinity of the Zoo car park (Parthenstraße).

Parking fees:

• EUR 1.00 per started hour
• EUR 8.00 for up to 12 hours
• EUR 12.00 day ticket (24 hours)

• Line 12 in the direction of Gohlis-Nord: Get off at the Zoo stop, directly in front of the KONGRESSHALLE.

Comfortable, safe and close by

The most convenient way to reach the KONGRESSHALLE am Zoo Leipzig is by suburban train (S-Bahn) and Deutsche Bahn trains. The Central Station with its ICE train connection is located in the city centre and is one of the most modern and largest railway stations in Europe.

Ideal connections from the airport to the city centre
Leipzig/Halle Airport is only about 16 km away from Leipzig city centre. You can reach the KONGRESSHALLE in just under 20 minutes by taxi or rental car via the A14 motorway. You will find taxi ranks directly at the airport (Terminal B) and near the KONGRESSHALLE. Alternatively, you can reach the Central Station in 15 minutes on the S-Bahn S 5, which runs every half hour.
